Surgical Technology Instructor
Location:  Forrest County Center
Job Description/Overview:  The Surgical Technology Program is seeking to build an adjunct applicant pool.  Potential adjuncts will be needed to work 8 – 12 hours per week beginning August 2020.  Adjunct positions will involve instructing Surgical Technology Program didactic and lab-based courses as well as supervising students in the clinical setting.
Status:  Adjunct
Educational Requirements/Work Experience:  All applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role, or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the 5 past years and must hold current CST or CSFA credentials.

Student Support Liaison
Location:  Hancock Center
Overview: This position will support the function of the Financial Aid Office, the Business Office, and the Admission Office.  The responsibilities include providing overall assistance in the student registration process, assisting students with inquiries concerning student accounts, admissions and financial aid files, as well as providing assistance to local school districts with the FASFA process. Must have strong interpersonal skills and related computer skills.  Requires sufficient customer relation skills by using proper telephone etiquette, explains procedures to others, resolves conflicts, and must portray a positive image of the college.
Status:  Full-Time (12 months) Support Staff
Educational Requirements:  Associate’s Degree

Adjunct Instructor of Philosophy 
Location:  Forrest County Center
Job Description/Overview:  Preferred candidates will possess more than the minimum requirements and be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for working with students in the development of critical and careful thinking, reading, and writing, a desire to teach the application of philosophical thinking and intellectual/cultural history to a variety of disciplines (including Career-Technical Education as well as academic disciplines beyond the humanities), and a passion for encouraging student engagement with ideas. Successful applicants will also demonstrate an ability with and interest in educational technology, especially Canvas Learning Management System, Webex, Zoom, and similar platforms.
Status:  Adjunct
Educational Requirements:  Master’s Degree (any field) with at least eighteen graduate hours in Philosophy.
