Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of Instructor of Electronics Technology for the Forrest County Center Campus.  It is available for internal transfer to qualified employees.  This is a full-time 9-month position. Interested applicants should have a minimum of an A.A.S. degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics Technology, or closely related field, with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience within the last five years preferred.

Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of Assistant Director of Recruitment. This position is open for internal transfer to qualified employees.  This is a full-time, 12-month professional position.  Interested applicants should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred.  Two to three years of experience in recruitment, financial aid, admissions, and other areas of enrollment management are required.
 
This person will oversee the daily operations of recruitment for PRCC.  They will be responsible for working with the recruiting staff and various departments on campus to identify, recruit and enroll students.  The position will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications and the Vice President of Business Services.  The role requires strong written and verbal communications skills.  This person will work with local schools and help create the college’s strategic recruitment plans.

Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of Testing Assistant (Garvin H. Johnston Library, Poplarville Campus).  This is a full-time 12-month position. Qualified applicants should have an AA degree.  Individuals must have a thorough understanding of a testing environment, have experience with standardized testing, and have an awareness of working as a member of a departmental team.  Duties will include, but are not limited to, proctoring tests at multiple campuses and membership on college committees.

Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of Adult Education Counselor (11 months) within the Office of Adult Education/GED. This is a full time, grant funded position working with adults in need of a high school equivalency diploma and/or non-credit workforce skills training. A Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology or Social Work is required and two or more years’ experience in academic or community based counseling. Strong presentation skills: must be comfortable facilitating training in individual or group settings, meeting with participants for case management, and promoting educational opportunities within PRCC to community groups, government agencies, and other organizations. Applicants must have an attention to detail for accurately reporting grant activities. Applicants must have technical competency: must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), email and basic database applications.

Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of The position of Secretary to the Dental Hygiene Program (Forrest County Center) is now available.  This is a full-time, support staff position that will become available effective July 1, 2019.  Candidates should demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills in addition to basic computer knowledge.  Associate’s degree and administrative assistant experience is preferred.   Experience as an assistant in a related medical field is a plus.  Interested applicants should contact Dr. Amanda Parker at aparker@prcc.edu.  Application deadline is June 7, 2019.

The position of Head Softball Coach is now open for qualified applicants.
