PRCC Child Development Lab School Assistant
Location: Poplarville
Job Description or Overview:  To assist in the care of preschool children as directed.
Responsibilities & Performance Required:

  • Assist in the development of the curriculum
  • Assist in the planning and development of a safe and healthy environment
  • Plan and implement methods of establishing a positive rapport with parents
  • Responsible for the arrangement, appearance, décor, and learning environment of the classroom
  • Collaborate with supervisory instructor/director
  • Follow all departmental policies and procedures as directed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency OR Current CECPR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR 3 years prior documented experience caring for children who are under 13 years of age and who are not related to the caregiver within the third degree computed according to civil law OR Associate Degree in Child Development – Preferred (or degree in related field with appropriate work experience)
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Excellent people skills

Administrative Assistant, Diagnostic Medical Sonography/Massage Therapy
Location:  Forrest County Campus
Job Description:  This is a full-time staff position that will provide support to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Massage Therapy Programs. Preferred requirements include good computer skills and professional communication skills via telephone and email.

Student Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location:  Poplarville
Status:  Full-time / Support Staff / 12 months
Summary:  To provide exceptional customer service to everyone who contacts the Business Services Department and work with all departments on campus to ensure student success. 
Required Education / Experience and Skills:

  • Associates degree preferred; high school diploma/GED required
  • Multi-tasking skills, including time management.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience and knowledge with Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, and various other database programs.
  • Must have general knowledge of computer accounting programs as they relate to student charges, credits, and balances.
  • Accounts receivable experience, customer service experience in retail, banking, or similar setting involving cash handling.
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as function independently.
  • Be available for work during registration activity including those periods falling after normal work hours.

Essential Duties Summary: 

  • Process payments and email statements.
  • Communicate with students regarding their invoices, payments, and payment plans.   
  • Answer all student, parent, and department inquiries regarding the status of payments, account balances, refund checks, and 1098T information.
  • Invoice student charges to various entities including VA agencies, 529 plans, and high schools for dual enrollment students. 
  • Assist in reviewing student account data for billing and refund processes.
  • Process outside scholarships to the student accounts.
  • Adheres to FERPA regulations.
  • Assist in collection efforts.
  • Performs other duties as determined by the director.

CTE Cyber Security Technology Instructor
Location: Poplarville
Job Overview:   The Cyber Security Technology instructor will be responsible for training students in the areas of confidentiality, integrity, and availability in information security. Students will learn to install, design, manage, operate, plan, maintain and troubleshoot hardware in a secure information technology infrastructure.

The position requires the instruction of clinical content, the possession of effective leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Status:  Part-Time (Adjunct; Salary dependent upon practice and/or instructional experience and contract length) Grant
Educational/Experience Requirements:  Qualified applicants must hold a graduate degree with a major in nursing (concentration in nursing education preferred) from a regionally accredited institution, hold an unencumbered Mississippi RN license, and have a minimum of five (5) years of acute care nursing experience; preferably medical/surgical experience; preferably formal (nursing) instructional experience; preferably in an ADN or higher degree program.

Surgical Technology Instructor --- (ADJUNCT)
Location:  Forrest County Campus 
Job Description/Overview:  The Surgical Technology Program is seeking hire 2 full time instructors and 1 Adjunct.   Full time instructors will work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Adjunct hours will vary per semester. Responsibilities may include didactic and laboratory instruction in addition to clinical supervision, instruction and direction and guidance of clinical preceptors.
