Q: Who is required to complete orientation?
A: All students attending PRCC for the first time will participate in ROAR, including students who have previously dual enrolled while in high school. ROAR is where students will learn important information to prepare them for the first day of school, as well as be advised and registered for their classes.
Q: What should I expect at orientation?
A: Once you register for ROAR, you will gain access to the ROAR Experience course in Canvas. In 30 minutes or less, you will watch helpful and important videos that will guide you through getting prepared for your advisement appointment. Then you'll have a one-on-one meeting with an advisor who will answer all your questions and make sure you are prepared for your first day of class!
Q. How do I schedule an appointment with an advisor?
A. In your ROAR Experience Canvas course, you will be provided a link to schedule an appointment to meet with an advisor at a time that's convenient for you. We encourage you to visit us in person, but we also offer virtual and phone appointments. If you are having trouble making your appointment, call us at 601-403-1250.
