Q:        What are the hours for HAN Library?
A:          Fall & Spring
             Due to COVID-19: The Hancock Library will be open for library use on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. A Librarian will be on duty in the Library on Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The Library will be used to conducted testing on Mondays 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. & Wednesday 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m..

Q:        Do I need my student ID to use the library?
A:         Students MUST have a PRCC ID to check out books, reserve materials, and to check out a laptop (Poplarville campus).

Q:       How do I print on campus?
A:         Wepa print solution is a cloud-based system that will allow users to upload documents on-the-go and print them conveniently at any Wepa print station. Send documents from any computer, smartphone or tablet.
Upload your document:
        • Access your box, Google Drive, Dropbox or One Drive account at any Wepa print station
        • Web Upload: log in at wepanow.com/webupload, select your documents and "send to Wepa"
        • Wepa print app: download the app at wepanow.com/printapp, open your document, choose "file>print" and select your preferred Wepa printer
        • Email to print: attach your document to an email, send to print@wepanow.com and use the provided Wepa code to print your document at any Wepa print station
        • Mobile App: download the "Wepa print" app and follow the instructions
        • USB drive: insert your USB drive at any Wepa print station

Q:        How much does it cost to print on campus?
A:         Black & white prints/copies, front sided is .14 cents a page; black & white prints/copies, front & back is .24 cents a page; color prints/copies front sided are .74 cents a page; color prints/copies, front & back copy is 1.14 cents a page.

Q:        Can a person from the community use the library?
A:         Absolutely.  You may use our computers and print or copy. 
To check out books, you will need a valid driver’s license. 

Q:        When books are checked out, when is my due date?
A:         You were given a white receipt when you checked your books out, if you cannot find your receipt, there is only one due date per semester.  The due date is usually 2 days prior to the first day of finals for the fall & spring semesters.  The summers vary. Semester due date is located on the library homepage.

Q:        Does the library charge fines for overdue books?
A:         No.  If you do not return your books by the due date (which is usually 2 days before finals begin), you will be charged the price of the book and a $50.00 replacement fee per book in the Business Office.

Q:        How do I get to the library from the web page?
A:         Hover over Academics at the top of the PRCC homepage.  Click on Libraries from the drop down menu.  You can also log into your RiverGuide account and click on the menu at the top left, click on Academics, then click on Library in the drop down menu.
   
Q:        How do I get to the online library catalog?
A:        Hover over Academics at the top of the PRCC homepage, then click on Library. Click on the Library Catalog link to the left.

Q:        How do I view an electronic book by EBSCO?
A:         Hover over Academics link at the top of the PRCC website, then click on Library.  Click on Databases to the left.  You may also login to RiverGuide.  Hover over Menu at the top left of the screen, click Academics, then click Library.  Logins, usernames, and passwords are listed here.   

Q:        How do I access an audio book from Overdrive?
A:          Audiobook Collection provided by Overdrive. Log into Overdrive or the Libby app: Library cardnumber: the first part of your PRCC email address (before the @) and the pin is your Riverguide password. To get to Overdrive, hover over Academics link at the top of the PRCC website, then click on Library.  Click on Databases to the left.  You may also login to RiverGuide.  Hover over Menu at the top left of the screen, click Academics, then click Library.
